Mark & Sarah Tillman

Mark & Sarah Tillman are set to release their new album 'Morning Sun, Rising Tide' on 06.12.18. Pre-order the album on iTunes and receive their first single 'Found My Joy' as an instant gratification track.

We asked Mark Tillman to tell us a little about the album and the recording process, and this is what he had to say:

“This album is our second full-length LP. We started the recording process in the summer of 2016 with our amazing friend and fearless dream chaser, Stephen Lee Price. He and his amazing wife, Kate, did a complete renovation of their newly bought house, and turned half of it into a full-on recording studio (mix room, live room, artist lodging, etc). He produced, engineered and mixed the project w/ the help of his engineering assistant, Joshua Dorsett. It was mastered by Dave Harris (Studio B).

The process took time as we intentionally chose to dig deep into each song. We tried things out, took risks, and saw what stuck. We enlisted a supergroup of a band to support the songs, and among them are; Al Sergel, Luke & Molly Skaggs, Marcus Morales, Andy Kurzweg, and many more. The album was shaped by their rhythms, notes, melodies, and most importantly, their hearts.

Grammy award winning songwriter, Amber Brooks, who is a close friend, amazing artist, and worship leader, also lent her voice for the project. You can hear her powerful vocals at the end of the single, ‘Found My Joy’ and throughout the rest of the record harmonizing flawlessly.”

Created by Human is elated to be a launching pad for this incredible release. We hope that you all enjoy it as much as we do. Check out the full album on all major digital retailers and streaming platforms on the above mentioned release date, and be sure to tell the band what you think as well.
